My New Adventure

So it's the last day of 2018, and I've decided to start 2019 off with a bang ... and a new adventure ... with my new health and fitness blog! If you're reading this, you've discovered my little corner of the world wide web where I've decided to share the musings of a shift working wife and mother of two who re-devoted herself to her personal health and fitness over during the last 2 months of 2018.

But why am I doing this, and why should you care? If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you already know that I like to post pictures of food, especially if it's a special, new and/or unique recipe. Over the past couple of months, I've revamped my eating habits and discovered ways to make satisfying meals that look and feel indulgent (and bad for you!) but really aren't. So of course I love sharing those pics with my friends and family! My hope is that by sharing my healthy eating and cooking experiences, as well as my workout experiences, with others, maybe I could help someone who needs the motivation to or even just the knowledge on how to begin his/her own journey. Plus, this gets those constant pics off of Facebook and Instagram.

Staying healthy and exercising regularly is difficult, especially when you're juggling a lot of different personal and professional things on a daily basis. It's not always easy, but it's worth it.

As for how I'm closing out 2018, I'm carrying my healthy ways right up to the end of the year with two workouts this morning. Earning that glass of wine to ring in 2019!
